Emanuel will return to the catwalk after ten years

Designer Elizabeth Emanuel will relaunch her label, Art of Being, during this month’s London Fashion Week.

Emanuel, famous for dressing Princess Diana, will showcase a capsule collection of black dresses on September 21.

Emanuel received a £1m investment from European finance firm Avalon last month, with Avalon’s managing director Michael Cooper joining the business as chairman. He has been tasked to recruit a young team to manage the label’s marketing strategy across a number of unnamed countries.

Cooper said: “I am motivated, excited and ready for all the challenges and rewards of ownership of a fashion label, and with a cash Investment, demonstrating my commitment and resolve to make this a real British success.”
