House Of Holland

Spring 11

The look 1970s American beauty pageant met the Wild West as House of Holland delivered its most accomplished collection to date with a cohesive narrative and a better handle on technical cutting.

Key pieces Standout pieces included chino fabric dresses featuring tropical botanical prints and fringing, metallic leather, knife-pleat A-line skirts and flared soft blue denim, which were twinned with grunge jumpers.

Commercial appeal This collection will be interpreted by the high street as it featured plenty of the season’s key trends. Look out for metallic leather along with pleating and fringing.

Footwear and accessories Footwear designer Charlotte Olympia produced the shoes for House of Holland and used metallic leathers in gold, aqua and green. A strappy platform construction dominated.
