London Fashion Week preview: Antipodium

What do you get if you cross the British sitcom Are you Being Served? with 1990s cinema icon Cher Horowitz from Clueless? Well, according to creative director Geoffrey Finch, it’s Antipodium’s spring 14 collection.

What were your key inspirations or themes?

A mash up of Are You Being Served?, Cher ‘Clueless’ Horowitz, Miss Piggy, Romy and Michele, Pretty Woman and Barbie - essentially the glory of retail. I’m a shop girl at heart.

What are the key items?

Skirts, suits, printed cotton shirt dresses and irresistible summer knits - things for wearing.

What are the key colours and fabrics?

Techno tweed, custom embroideries and sickly colour combinations: lilac meets nude and lemon and spearmint.

How has it been creating this collection?

Analytical - we focused on delivering our essence and sharpening our offer.

  • Saturday September 14, 10am to 12pm, location to be confirmed
