London Fashion Week Preview: Eudon Choi

Eudon Choi takes us to outer space for spring 13, but via the 1960s inspired by Kubrick’s 1968 film 2001, A Space Odyssey and Antonioni’s 1966 film Blow Up.

“You will see a lot of bright whites and neutral hues combined with primary colours and metallics,” says Choi. “Contrasting textures are always one of my signatures so expect everything from LYCRA Style Fibre sports inspired fabrics, patent leather, 3D fabrics and summer furs.” One of the designer’s favorite looks is an a-line skirt featuring a “dangerous” thigh skimming split teamed with a white shirt. “It really embodies my 1960’s influences while the crisp shirt gives the look a modern edge.” We’ll be looking out for that one.

  • Friday September 14, 15:30 and 16.15, Portico Show Space, Somerset house
