The prevalence of print is set to continue at Issa, which has utilised digital printing for the first time.
“Creating this collection has been quite different from past seasons,” says designer Danielle Helayel. “We started to experiment with digital printing, which is limitless in respect to what you can create and manipulate with a print design.” Inspirations range from the Garden of Eden, Noah’s Ark, corals, passion and seduction, appearing as exotic leaf and coral designs. “Key styles are the knitwear dresses; the silhouettes are very flattering. They consist of jacquards in vibrant prints, ribbed body-con dresses in neon colours and flower-encrusted embroideries,” says Helayel. There are also some long, languid voluminous satin dresses and relaxed separates in crêpe de chine and jersey.”
