“This season I looked to India, one of my original sources of inspiration 15 years ago,” says Matthew Williamson, who is celebrating the label’s 15th year with an influence he believes is important to the label’s DNA.
Described as a polished bohemian look, there is an emphasis on cropped trousers, fitted jackets and Williamson’s trademark evening dresses and gowns, alongside the launch of his first footwear collection.
“The palette is both warm and cool: watermelon, raspberry, mint and cobalt blue feature heavily with lots of antique metallics,” he explains. “I’ve loved working on this collection as thematically it feels close to my personality and style. It’s been a real labour of love.”
