London Fashion Week Preview: Michael van der Ham

This collection promises to be an evolution of van der Ham’s trademark mixed-up modern elegance, with a focus on textile-play.

“We developed all the textiles ourselves, ranging from printed organzas or crêpe marocains to embroidered printed embossed fabrics,” he says. “Other fabrics include woven raffias with plastic hand-painted Lurex devorés and screen-printed textured jacquards, and a series of intricate embellishments that include shredded appliques and really fine knotted Lurex embroideries.”
