London Fashion Week Preview: Sister by Sibling

London knitwear trio Joe Bates, Cozette McCreery and Sid Bryan – otherwise known as Sibling – are back with their second collection of bonkers jumpers and sparkling sequins from their Sister by Sibling womenswear line.

Punk band X-Ray Spex’s frontwoman, Poly Styrene, is the main inspiration, with sequins, clashing colours dipping into pastels, twin sets and matching knitted skirts. “New fabric developments come through this season including viscose, polyesters, Lurex, cashmere and cotton in blends to give a light handle for the summer months,” explains McCreery. “There is beading and embroidery for texture and shine, full-throttle colour played against white and, of course, a Sister by Sibling leopard.”

  • Saturday, September 15 9.30am, Portico Show Space, Somerset House
