Mark Fast

Spring 11

The look Heavy fringed knits with see-through and peekaboo elements came in a palette of neon yellow and turquoise, and black and white. Contrast colour fringing was seen on dresses and cutaway shoulders were key.

Key pieces A black halterneck minidress featured a wide web knit on the midriff and feathered fringing on the torso. Fringing on dresses often started at the thigh and finished at the knee or calf. Jewels embellished dresses while high-shine panelling was also used.

Commercial appeal Mark Fast is gaining recognition for his sexy knitwear and has been taken on by Italian design house Pinko to develop a spring 11 collaboration. The most commercial elements were the dresses.

Footwear and accessories There were no jewellery or bags. Stacked platform shoes had thin ties around the ankles.
