Tim Soar

Autumn 10

Tim Soar played with proportions to produce a look that made a strong directional statement as well as working on a commercial level. Take away the layering of some pieces (such as a heavy black wool bikerstyle jacket over a classic camel DB coat and a crew-neck camel sweater) and you’re left with easy-to-wear sweaters, slim-cut trousers, and some slick tailoring.

Key pieces that worked best included the Argyle sweater with its diamonds made of fabric rather than knitted-in, a slim-cut 1SB black blazer worn atop and oversized white granddad shirt.
