Vivienne Westwood Red Label

Spring 11

The look The collection lacked a cohesive narrative as more than 100 looks marched down the catwalk. Among them were some highly commercial pieces as well as some chaotic outfits.

Key pieces Standout pieces included large picnic-check shirt dresses and high-shine trouser suits and dresses in grey and indigo with a floral print patina. Cuts were loose and flowing but examples of Westwood’s best body-hugging, breast and hip-accentuating were also here.

Commercial appeal Loads of looks for high street translation and sales for indie stockists.

Footwear and accessories Varied but standout styles include sweet primary schoolesque red T-Bar sandals and sexy red open toe sandals. Westwood’s signature bowling bags featured along with string neck ties and bizarre face painting.
