The look The week’s standout collection saw kinky bellboys and demure handcuffed women stride down the Louis Vuitton catwalk.

Key pieces Designer Marc Jacobs’ show was underpinned by a sense of naughtiness as models were restricted by handcuffs and long sheer skirts wrapped tightly around their legs. Peter Pan-collared knee-length dresses and voluminous house coats had a sweet appeal. Prints were girly, with a high-heel shoe print scattered over the ladylike dresses. At the sexier end of the collection, tight, tailored red bellboy jackets were worn with hold-ups, while oversized knickers and pencil skirts also featured.

Commercial appeal This show set out a fresh trend for the season and exhibited a wonderful interplay between ladylike silhouettes and more masculine tailoring.
