Max Mara

Spring 11

The look Streamlined silhouettes were occasionally luxed up with textured interest via chunky knits and feather panelling. Colour blocking featured in what was a clean and coherent collection.

Key pieces Bandeau tops were styled with flowing maxi skirts in citrus brights. High-waist shorts sat tight against the leg and had tight-fitting, long-sleeve tops neatly tucked in. A tailored trouser suit with cut out waist detail looked modern.

Commercial appeal Clean-cut silhouettes were elegant in neutral shades. Large polka dot and stripe prints echoed those at Moschino, a micro trend on the Milan catwalks for spring 11.

Footwear and accessories Square toe Mary Jane shoes in satin were accompanied by skinny leather belts and tote handbags.
