Calvin Klein Collection, Spring 13
What started off as a trip down a familiar Calvin Klein lane became a journey down a road less travelled as Italo Zucchelli experimented with a print for spring 13. Hardly radical you may think, but for Calvin Klein’s severe and strict aesthetic, a print, let alone a deconstructed floral, is a significant departure on shirts, shorts and blazers. All the greatest hits were still present and correct: bulky bomber jackets, puffed-out sweats, denim jackets and sleek suiting, tricked up this time by reflective or metallic fabrics or technical mesh on a blazer’s lapel.
In short Commercial pieces featured throughout, with interest coming from the unexpected fabrications.
