Suitably preppy, with a healthy dollop of British 1960s influence, characterises the men’s and women’s collections by Tommy Hilfiger this season.
Fun takes on classic British tailoring for women saw a pinstripe suit reimagined with shorts, while Prince of Wales checks clashed with houndstooth for a smorgasbord of 1960s city style. For men, outerwear was strong, with duffle coats in pinstripe and dogtooth with leather accents.
In short Not too different to overstretch the Hilfiger style, but forward-thinking enough to excite even the most familiar customers.
