Paris Fashion Week - Chloé

Building on her autumn 12 show, Clare Waight Keller’s third collection for Chloé was nicely conceived even if it had too many ideas.

The autumn show played on only a couple of themes, but her latest had too much going on at times. That’s not to say it wasn’t a strong collection: the minimal, oversized silhouettes that opened were satisfying, and as the show progressed it was the simpler looks that were the most successful. That is apart from the final, frilling look which had lightweight pleating and a pretty pastel tone and felt like Chloé all over.

In short The minimal shapes will be the most easy to translate while Waight Keller made the season’s ruffle trend simple and accessible.
