Paris Fashion Week - Kenzo

A riotous journey into the jungle, Humberto Leon and Carol Lim’s spring 13 collection for Kenzo was welcome respite from the black blanket across the rest of Paris Fashion Week.

The printed catwalk set the tone for a show that felt like an expedition into Amazon territory. Explorer looks opened the show, but the deeper into the jungle Leon and Lim explored, the more the vivid foliage and animal prints stuck. Safari suits were emblazoned with the tropical pattern before zingy leopard prints, which in some cases looked almost like poppies, appeared over neat skirts, a mac dress and straight but not spray-on trousers.

In short A vibrant collection to further enhance Leon and Lim’s reputation.
