Paris Fashion Week - Louis Vuitton

Marc Jacobs always puts on a show at Louis Vuitton and this was no different, installing four towering escalators that the models descended two by two.

Like his eponymous show, where simple stripes dominated, checks ruled at Vuitton in black, green, yellow and white, or in shimmering sequins and contrasting opaque and sheer panels, occasionally scattered with a floral motif. And like his New York show, Jacobs worked a 1960s slant but this was a more structured, elegant lady. There were three skirt shapes, from maxi, to midi and super mini, teamed with demure jackets.

In short The high street could go checkerboard crazy and sunshine yellow will have a moment thanks to Jacobs.
