Paris Fashion Week - Valentino

In the four years since Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli took over Valentino, they’ve wooed a growing crowd of women who have fallen for their ultra-feminine and wearable creations (we lost count of the studded Valentino pumps on fashion week feet).

This season had a sexier edge, with dresses sliced and spliced and sewn back together revealing panels of skin beneath. Again, demure lady-like lace and thick guipure came pieced together on dresses and jackets to reveal peek-a-boo flashes of flesh. Elsewhere, snakeskin, see-through PVC and studding pushed the tough luxe edge.

In short A strong collection of stellar dresses that were beautifully sexy, with an elegant take on the peek-a-boo trend.
