Workwear was the order of the day at Acne, where creative director Jonny Johansson took steps towards a new sartorial direction for the Scandinavian brand.
Acne’s stalwart denim was cut into a smart, tailored indigo short suit, while its signature biker jacket was given a utilitarian update with petrol blue nylon sleeves. There were also lots of stripes – striped satin pyjama suits, striped sleeveless vests – but silhouettes stayed either voluminous or very slim. On the accessories front, wide-brimmed hats and tarnished metallic brogues gave much-needed drama to an otherwise staid collection.
