Sharp practice from Lanvin in Paris

Lanvin wowed the crowds on the final day of Paris Men’s Fashion Week with a grown-up collection of super-masculine, sharply tailored double-breasted suits.

This penchant for the db suit was also seen at Dior Homme and Yves Saint Laurent earlier in the week. Bright powder-coloured suiting and subtly padded shoulders also featured at the Lanvin show. Menswear designer for the fashion house Lucas Ossendrijver said: “We introduced fragility a few years ago and I think this season it was time to be a little more masculine.”
