Dolce & Gabbana's sales to remain stable

Dolce & Gabbana’s revenues looks set to remain stable at €1.1bn (£895m) in 2012 after the closure of its diffusion line D&G.

In the year to March 31, 2011 the company reported revenues of €1.12bn.and the premium brand’s sales are expected to stay the same for 2012, due to the closure of its D&G line, according to reports on Fashion United.

Last year Dolce & Gabbana confirmed that it would merge its diffusion line D&G into its signature line from autumn 12, with its Milan Fashion Week catwalk in September 2011 D&G’s last.

Next year Dolce & Gabbana will expand around the world with stores in Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Chile.

Fashion United said the company was now focusing on a more luxury positioning for the Dolce & Gabbana label, with a focus on made in Italy garments.
