Eight brands join M&L Harris roster

Womenswear agent M&L Harris is doubling its brand portfolio for autumn 13 in a bid to satisfy buyers’ appetite for new styles.

M&L Harris, which represents brands including MW by Matthew Williamson, Tara Jarmon, Equipment and Current/ Elliott, will add eight more brands to its roster.

Those joining the line-up are US designer label Derek Lam and its diffusion brand 10 Crosby; contemporary label Rachel Roy; eveningwear brand David Meister; Yosi Samra ballet pumps; luxury knitwear and outerwear brand Max & Moi by Lederer; Italian knitwear label BIRdenBIRE; and Berlin-based Sly 010.

M&L Harris owner Liliane Harris said: “When our clients come in for appointments, the first thing they say is: ‘Have you got anything new for us?’.”

“Max & Moi, for example, is very modern and luxurious, and all the indies we’ve contacted have booked appointments.”

For Derek Lam and 10 Crosby, M&L Harris will conduct UK buying appointments at the brands’ US showroom in New York.
