No one deserved to win the first annual Vogue Fashion Fund this year more than Canadian-Turkish designer Erdem Moralioglu. Erdem has been quietly working away for the past five years to develop a solid ready-to-wear business and has earned his place as a designer to be reckoned with. The pretty quirkiness of the beautiful digital prints (all made by Erdem personally) and the sharp and structured shapes of his dresses is what gives his collection a fresh perspective and sets it apart from other designers during London Fashion Week. His shows are as breathtaking as his designs, and I always look forward to seeing what he does next.”
