Brand showcase: Ruby Shoo

The British footwear brand is taking giant steps with a spring 2017 collection expanding into accessories.

A philosophy of creating wearable, eye-catching shoes with a vintage influence has seen Ruby Shoo attain a loyal following across the globe. With this established retail and customer base, it created a matching bag collection in past seasons, and is on a new journey with the introduction of purses for next summer.

With every detail imagined, every colour envisioned, the Ruby Shoo collection for spring 2017 is a celebration of classic pieces and dazzling new designs, sure to appeal to the woman who seeks that little piece of uniqueness.

Stand-out pieces include the occasion shoes and bags, which shimmer with more than a nod to the nostalgic fairy tales of times past. Detailing is the key – brocade fabrics and adornments of lace, pearl and gemstone dance in a palette of powdery pastels, calm neutrals and soft metallics.

Themes across the collection include Old Havana, and new creations take inspiration from the Cuban capital. The temperature rises with hot tropical florals and bold patterns in a bright and vibrant palette. These are shoes made to make a statement – sophisticated, quirky, and ultimately fun.

Ruby Shoo was conceived in 2010 under the direction of Samantha Lines, a graduate from the prestigious Cordwainers College at the University of the Arts, London. Samantha takes a unique approach to footwear, abstaining from trends to focus on timeless pieces with a unique twist and a hint of whimsy.
