Salle Privée is a new Dutch menswear brand launched by Patrick Munster, the former co-owner of Scotch & Soda who helped relaunch the brand in the late 1990s.
This new label is seasonless and aims to offer an edited selection of refined wardrobe staples and outfit building blocks, all in luxury fabrics with a high-end finish.
From smart peak-lapel suits in a lovely grey wool and a hefty double-breasted navy pea coat through to sturdy denim jeans and soft knitwear, everything from the smart to casual spectrum is available, all produced in Italy.
The brand debuted last month via its ecommerce platform and a store in Amsterdam.
Retail prices range from €90 (£77) for a cotton T-shirt to €2,350 (£2,016) for a suede bomber jacket.

Why take the seasonless approach?
While working in fashion for more than 20 years, I found that my own wardrobe never changed. My wardrobe is a collection of classic and iconic pieces plus the basic essentials, which I wore for years. Secondly, the world is becoming more global, and I believe that the target audience – the metropolitan man – travels a lot. One day he is in London, the next LA, therefore we want all seasons to be available all year round.
Why launch direct to consumer?
It’s no secret we live in a modern digital age, and you see especially men buying more online. But above all it’s about ease for the male consumer. We offer a select but all-encompassing collection for modern men, all available in one spot.
