Outerwear is strong in Jaeger’s collection, which draws on the retailer’s 130-year archive.
Double-faced cashmere coats, a camel-hair Crombie-style and a long-hair alpaca coat are all part of a move to up Jaeger’s use of natural fabrics from 20% last autumn to 80% next season.
A felted wool and mohair coat feature among the 20 ‘fashion pieces’ sitting within the mainline. Also among this capsule range is a merino wool navy dress with a layered top half and a gilet in double-faced cashmere from the 1970s section of the archive.
Key colours include camel, navy, black and white, with pops of cobalt blue and bright winter berry.
Accessories have been expanded, with twice as many handbag options (including colourways) compared with autumn 13. Within the collection is a small, ‘Made in the UK’ range, which will eventually be expanded.
