Coast presented a dark and dramatic collection for autumn 15, which blurred the lines between trends from the 1960s, 1970s and beyond.
The ‘1970s Muse’ look features fake fur scarves, feather- or lace-adorned separates and relaxed silhouettes such as wide-legged trousers and slouchy sleeveless coats in a palette of grey, greens, teals and navy.
‘Dark Romance’ is more seductive, with maxi dresses and voluminous skirts in reds and black. This contrasts with the playful shapes of ‘Modern Graphic’, which sees a slashed-neck black top paired with an A-line polka-dot skirt and mini dresses covered in sequins or with feathered hems.
‘Midnight Luxe’ takes the glamour up a notch, featuring luxurious fabrics such as lace and jacquard on mini, midi and maxi dresses, as well as trousers.
