High street preview: Jigsaw menswear autumn 15

In its strongest collection since menswear was relaunched in spring 2012, Jigsaw has focused on quality fabric and construction, creating a range of classic and wearable pieces but with a fashion spin.

The look is clean and simple, with fabrics and textures adding interest to the mix of traditional and functional designs.

An oversized fuzzy bouclé double-breasted coat makes a directional statement but appears off the back of similar limited edition styles that sold out in autumn 14. A pared back hooded mac comes in a techy fabric, while a padded jacket and matching gilet with wide quilt stripes and a bomber jacket-styleelasticated round neck come in waterproof waxed wool.

Other standout items include a 100% cashmere fisherman-style ribbed knit, soft merino blazers and a lovely double-breasted tailored jacket with wide lapels made using fabric from West Yorkshire mill Abraham Moon & Sons.
