Rich tones of red and purple are used across all of Kurt Geiger’s sub-brands - Kurt Geiger, KG and Carvela. Velvet, suede and leopard skin add texture, reflecting autumn 10’s women’s ready-to-wear trends.
A key story is adventure hiking, with rugged styles such as sheepskin and biker boots and details like thick sock-like trims sewn into boots. Elsewhere, classic stilettos with mid-height heels look fresh, while bows are a primary detail on vamps.
Kurt Geiger’s Fashionistas limited-edition range includes a collaboration with jewellery brand Swarovski, in which a number of styles are embellished with tiny pieces of Swarovski crystals which decorate the heel of the shoe.

- Right for the market?
Kurt Geiger neatly ticks off its target customers by offering strong collections across each of its brands. The tie-up with Swarovski will offer a point of difference and keep the retailer ahead of its rivals.
Carvela, which targets an older customer, continues to offer a youthful collection of higher heels but the design is subtle enough to distinguish it from Kurt Geiger and the Fashionistas ranges.
Elsewhere, there are lots of sparkles and bows, which will attract those looking for Christmas party footwear.
