As a celebration of its East London manufacturing roots, denim brand Lee Cooper is launching a premium selvedge denim range, The Cooper Collection
The range will comprise six styles – three men’s and three women’s – and is designed to pay homage to the denim brand’s heritage, which began with an East End factory in 1908.
Each design is a modern take on traditional selvedge jeans, with inspiration drawn from the Lee Cooper archives. The jeans in the collection are handmade from raw and unwashed Italian selvedge denim, woven on authentic shuttle looms with a 31-inch vintage weave, and feature 100% copper hardware.
Retail prices for The Cooper Collection start at £250, and the jeans will be on sale from October online and in a dedicated pop-up in London’s Bishopsgate and from selected stockists.
