High hopes were placed on multi-award winning Jonathan Saunders: his autumn 12 menswear collection shown in Milan was a highlight, and his debut in London was equally well received.
Saunders played with circular prints and combined them with colour, creating optical illusion-esque visuals on knitted cardigans and matching tailored suits. When print didn’t feature on knits, 3D elements added a tactility to garments . The palette began with primary blue, red and yellow and moved into soft shades of powder blue, mink and putty.
In short Bold pops of colour will brighten rails for spring with printed macs moving the collection on.
