Contemporary design, affordable luxury and responsible fashion are the three foundations of new London-based men’s and womenswear brand Enlist.
Enlist was founded by Mario Arena and Peter Farrow, who have more than 30 years’ experience in the manufacturing and wholesale business, having worked with the LVMH group, Thomas Pink, Whistles and House of Fraser throughout their careers.
Their aim is to create a seasonless wardrobe of modern, everyday essentials for both men and women in premium fabrics, produced by responsible manufacturing partners using sustainable methods.
Collections are split into three sections: Entry, for seasonless essentials such as T-shirts and shirts; Premium, with more fashion-led and innovative designs; and Ultra, which features the brand’s most directional creations in limited edition runs.
For spring 17, fabrics used in the womenswear range include silk organza, rayon knits, cupro satin, bamboo jersey and sand-washed silk satin. Hero pieces include a linen coat dress and sequinned T-shirt with matching shorts, while a pleated skirt, lightweight silk bomber jacket and side-split collarless shirt also stand out.
The menswear palette is clean and crisp, focusing on classic navy blues, cool grey and sandy neutrals. A leaf pattern adds a pop of summery colour. Standout pieces include a goat suede bomber jacket and showerproof spring trench coat, alongside staples such as linen shirts and T-shirts.
Wholesale prices for womenswear range from £29 for a bamboo and silk top to £235 for a goatskin jacket. Menswear starts at £19 for a cotton T-shirt and goes up to £225 for a goatskin jacket.
