Shear class as Wool Week picks up the thread

Monday 15th sees the return of Wool Week, which highlights the Prince of Wales-backed Campaign for Wool.

To mark this year’s event, Harvey Nichols is erecting a huge needle and thread outside its London store. Running over 100 metres, it will use more than 300kg of wool from farms in the UK and from as far afield as Australia and New Zealand. Other projects include Wool School, a range of student-designed knits we exclusively revealed last month that will be stocked at Topshop (pictured), Jigsaw, Pringle, and Hobbs to name a few; a ‘knit off’; ‘woolly golf’ and smaller, hands-on events.
