Brand to watch: Blonde & Ginger

British womenswear label Blonde & Ginger showed its first collection at Pure London.

The autumn 15 range, which is made in north Wales, offers a day-to-evening contemporary look with clean and simple silhouettes. Staples are given a feminine twist, such as the statement-sleeve Maddox dress with Chantilly lace back panel, contrasted with luxury updates such as leather raglan sleeves on the Mason top. The label was founded by Elizabeth Carrick, a former womenswear buyer for Debenhams and Shop Direct Group. The name refers to the hair colour of Carrick and her ginger husband John, a silent partner in the business. Wholesale prices range from £70 for a silk blouse to £165 for metallic leather trousers.
