British label Honor Gold ramps up wholesale presence

Women’s occasionwear label Honor Gold has appointed sales agent Society Agency as it looks to ramp up its wholesale presence.

The initial target is to add up to 100 UK stockists to the current 80, which includes independents Pearl in Liverpool, What Sarah Did in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, and etailer Little Black Dress. The brand’s accounts in Ireland, Europe, Canada and Dubai will still be managed in-house. Society is currently selling the autumn 14 range from stock - it is still available for October delivery - while the spring 15 line will be sold from October 1. For autumn 14, the five-year-old brand has launched a new range, Honor Gold Luxe (pictured), which features embellished maxi dresses wholesaling between £60 and £95 (mainline dresses are from £25 to £50). The brand is designed in the UK, with 99% of its production in Leicester.
