Clarks Men’s Footwear

Spring 11

The look

Nautical is key across men’s footwear at Clarks for spring 11, with the boat shoe remaining a key part of its offer. A fit-for-purpose boat shoe has been introduced featuring a water drainage system to give customers added value for next season.

Elsewhere, smart leather lace-ups are delicate with lasts having a less chunky shape than some of Clarks’ more trend-led counterparts. Casual slip-on loafers and a lace-up option look sharp in walnut brown. Suede is also used, often with a worn effect on the toes and back of heels.

Black, brown and the occasional tan make up a dark collection lightened by the blues of the boat shoes. Clarks Originals is underpinned by the desert boot and updated with limited-edition styles such as a wax-cotton material in olive.

Key pieces

  • Tan suede lace-up shoe with orange sole
  • Black polished leather buckled shoe
  • Clarks Originals olive desert boot

Right for the market?

Yes, this collection offers smart lace-ups and the more fashionable buckled and distressed options through to boat shoes and hybrid slip-on loafers. Clarks understands its purpose in the men’s market and the significance of added value through tie-ups with performance brands on its sports range.
