Cut-pile fur

Autumn 11

Cut-pile novelty yarns were in abundance, ranging from crimped-curl astrakhan effects and naturally shaded plush-style yarns in natural fibre blends to velvety, chenille-style yarns in rayon and viscose blends. Inca Tops showed Wasi, a silky novelty yarn in Suri alpaca and silk giving a luxuriant pile effect, and Lyarim, a baby alpaca, merino and nylon brushed bouclé tweed with a shadow ombré effect. Botto Poala presented Ankaka, a mohair, merino extra-fine and polyamide blend.
