Autumn 10

Decorative fabrics this season saw two contrasting moods; one of opulence and brash metallic and the other of faded, well worn and deliberately distressed. Large scale florals inspired by heritage wallpapers were shown next to classical ditsys, while flat fabrics were given volume through blistering, felting and bouclé finishings. Devoré, dull metallic foils and brushing techniques distressed both light and heavy weight fabrics.
