Diesel and Edun’s African jeans

Continuing the African theme, denim heavyweight Diesel is to collaborate with Edun, the ethical lifestyle brand set up by U2 singer Bono and his wife Ali Hewson, to create a new African-born denim range for February 13.

The collaboration is inspired by African creativity and entirely produced and manufactured on the continent. Renzo Rosso, Diesel’s founder (pictured below right, with Bono and Hewson), said: “We want to show consumers and industry alike that it is possible to source, produce, and generate sustainable trade in Africa.” The range will launch in February 2013.
