Footwear brand Modern English launches

After two years in the making, the first designs from unisex footwear label Modern English are now available.

Founder Jamie Harris has launched it with a handmade unisex shoe made in a Yorkshire workshop. With a waterproof cotton canvas upper and an Italian leather toe, the shoe comes in cream, red and green, and in sizes three to 12, wholesaling from £138.80. The range will increase in January, with bags also added, and the brand will operate outside traditional seasons, with product dropping as and when available. Modern English is now looking for stockists, focusing on independents.
