Heritage Looks

Autumn 11

Archive-influenced fabrics continued to be strong, with renewed interest in tweedy aspects and classical colouration. Colour-mixed bouclé and tape yarns decorated fancy tweeds, and more traditional checks and Donegal tweeds were enlivened by irregular and multicolour neps and slubs. Sartorial fabrics in herringbone, dogtooth and micro geometric pattern wovens were key in chine yarns with jersey variations offering a soft-tailoring alternative.
