If you could visit one spring 13 men’s show, which would it be?

We’ll be attending Capsule Paris, CPH Copenhagen and Jacket Required. If I had to choose one it would be Capsule Paris. Some of the ‘heritage’ brands there need to move on a bit, but it’s still the show that offers the most relevant product for our sector of the market.

This season we’re going to try new things and venture out of the usual London trade shows; the past few seemed to offer what we already have. Premium Berlin we’ll be attending for sure. We hope to unearth a hidden treasure. We’re keeping our ears to the ground talking to other indies to get a broader view of what shows have to offer us in 2013.

Two shows stand out for me. Capsule Paris has a diverse mix of higher-end brands, with UK labels Folk and Oliver Spencer standing out. Most notable though is Jacket Required in London; the last show was incredibly well organised.

I’m most looking forward to visiting Pitti Uomo in Florence. Set in the most inspirational environment with an amazing array of artisan brands, it’s definitely one of my favourites.
