Wedge heels dominated the women’s footwear show, enlivened by cork and raffia finishes
Wedged heels are key for spring 12 at Italian footwear brand Alberto Zago, with new design details updating cork soles. A slingback wedge is takes centre stage, featuring a layered cork and blown rubber EVA sole in vivid reds and blues. Coloured rubber soles add a contemporary twist to simple cork wedges and slip-ons, while a wedge mule also stands out in soft tan leather.

Spanish espadrille specialist Toni Pons offers a selection of new styles alongside its usual range of traditional woven raffia-trim pumps.
