Spring 16 sees the launch of Lyle & Scott London, a capsule collection designed in-house at the brand’s London studio.
Comprised of casual styles such as a cashmere knit and a pima cotton polo shirt, as well as soft tailoring, the range aims to offer a versatile wardrobe of pieces for the modern man. Texture is a big focus of the collection, which can be seen in pieces such as the ottoman knit, a blend of cotton, silk and linen, and a gingham poplin shirt.
“We have remained true to our 141 years of manufacturing expertise and created a line specifically designed to fit the needs of the everyday, fast-paced, metropolitan lifestyle,” explains Lyle & Scott’s head of brand and marketing Stacy Testot-Newick. He adds: “Elevated through the finest fabric, these menswear wardrobe staples are designed to suit any occasion, combining a contemporary aesthetic with inimitable quality.”
Wholesale prices range from £16.50 for a T-shirt to £67 for a cashmere jumper, which is an increase of 15% to 30% on Lyle & Scott’s standard range, depending on product group.
