Textile

Woven fabrics were adopted across men’s and women’s footwear, particularly on lace-up flat shoes.

One of the freshest trends at Micam was the use of textiles on uppers. Woven fabrics were adopted across men’s and women’s footwear, particularly on lace-up flat shoes. Upholstery-like fabric was seen at Swear in a floral weave, while herringbone and felt cloth were used at Robert Clergerie and Espace respectively. Tweed in the style of Chanel’s signature bouclé was employed at Jean-Michel Cazabat.
