Wooden platforms

Wooden platforms have taken a chunky and extreme turn for spring 09. Tapping into the 1970s inspired trend, thick soles and high, pale-wooden heels featured on womens styles. Some clog and wooden mule variations were also shown. The trend is a move on from the glitz-glam stock-on platform trend which sold on shoe shop shelves this spring, offering a more casual alternative for next season.
