On the radar - Walsh

Established in 1961, Walsh has been long perfecting its brand of trainers, which are all made in Bolton by just five staff.

Founder Norman Walsh handmade the trainers used by the 1948 British Olympic team and there is more than a hint of retro about the newly enlarged 46-style range made from premium suedes and leathers, some boasting Vibram soles. Wholesale prices range from £40 to £50.
