Fashion cognoscenti are much bewitched by the Japanese brand Haver Sack and this season is no different. Its authentic reproduction of retro detailing in skilfully washed fabrics and premium materials on vintage blocks is hard for the devoted menswear geek to resist. Last season, the range was split into three and that logic has been reproduced – the original range continues to show military inspired workwear, with hunting details while the second range marries nautical inspiration with a 1940s French workwear block to create a soft shouldered silhouette. The third line is the most refined and is cleaner but still with plenty of details for the trainspotter, like the triple box pleats on the waisted hunting jacket or the db jacket with the internal fastening. Clever stuff.
A bag range has been introduced this season.
