Penrose London

A collaboration between Duchamp founder Mitchell Jacobs and former Aquascutum international wholesale manager Michael Whitby-Grubb, Penrose London is a luxury shirting and accessories brand, with understated styling and luxurious detailing. The debut range for autumn 09 uses Egyptian cotton and two fold poplin, mother of pearl buttons to create elegant collection of shirting, ties, scarves and socks, as well as cufflinks. The brand is aimed at high end department stores and boutiques and styling is a contemporary take on vintage elegance, with only subtle branding and colour palettes and the focus on subtle but luxurious woven patterns. More pointed Milan collars and higher London collars feature as well as a button or French cuff styles.
